    Hi @comptedev

This may not be related to Wordfence and there could be a connection problem between Cloudflare and your hosting server.

I would like to have a look at your Wordfence diagnostics report. Please go to the top of the “Diagnostics” tab on the Wordfence “Tools” page. There will be a “SEND REPORT BY EMAIL” button to send the diagnostics report. Enter wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com as the email and @comptedev as the forum username please.

Once you have emailed me the diagnostics report can you reply here to let me know that it has been sent. This is important in the unlikely event that your installation of WordPress is having an issue with sending mail.

    Hi @comptedev

Thank you for sending the report.

In the Connectivity section on the Wordfence Tools >> Diagnostics page we can see for the Connecting back to this site line that the response status code is 503 Service Unavailable, which you have already seen.

In the response body I see:

Checking your browser before accessing videodidixx.com.
This process is automatic. Your browser will redirect to your requested content shortly.
Please allow up to 5 seconds…
    DDoS protection by Cloudflare
    Ray ID: 5adc0c02fd5cedeb

Therefore it appears that there is an issue with WordPress being able to send requests back to itself via Cloudflare when we use WordPress’s wp_remote_post function to run the test. Please ask your hosting provider and Cloudflare to investigate.

The Wordfence scanner needs to be able send requests back to WordPress to be able to function.
