Ability to disable automatic og:site_name

More generally, it would be great if Add Meta Tags scanned through the custom meta tags added via individual pages, and suppressed its own tags, to avoid duplication.

For example, if I add a custom <meta property=”og:title”>, the plugin should not add the title of the page again, because that will cause a warning at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

Hi, it could be a useful addition and I’ll see how this can be implemented in the future. Currently, a feature like that has a low priority because other more important tasks have to be accomplished.

I’m sorry but this feature will not be implemented. You can easily comment out the relevant line in the source code. There is a big amount of work required to effectively implement something like that, so please simply comment it out in the sources. Thanks ??

On a second thought this might become possible without much effort by adding support for filtering the generated metatags from other plugins or from functions.php.
