Ability to select which pages a widget is shown on

Thanks for posting.

Most themes should remove the sidebar when no widgets are present. You could use Jetpack Widget Visibility to set your widgets to only show if page is “x”.

If you activate Jetpack and want an overview of the modules that are enabled, go to https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules One easy page to disable the modules you don’t want to use at this time.

There are other ways this might be done, the above is one idea.
