ability to work on bbpress forums?

Hello,

This plugin works fantastic on posts and pages, but it does not seem to function when I place it in a bbpress forum content box.

Whether I place it via the GCB Visual Editor button, or directly as shortcode in the html box, neither works, as the display on the forum is simply: [ the shortcode ]

Is there something I am missing? or a way to make it work in bbpress?

Hi!
Looks like BBpress does not allow most shortcodes, so I suggest using a plugin like:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bbpress2-shortcode-whitelist/
and add ‘contentblock’ as an allowed shortcode. I tested this and it works, but since that plugin is quite old, you might want look for another one that does the same thing.
