When a user aborts the workflow the comment history is missing the date. Is there any way to fix that or is there a reason why the date is not recorded? The issue here is that because it doesn’t have a date those will always float to the top of the history and it can cause confusion due to the events being out of order.

The sign off date on the workflow history is the date when the workflow is aborted. Are you getting the sign off date as blank?

We will add an enhancement request to allow for comments on abort.

Thanks for creating an enhancement request for comments.

Here’s a screenshot of the output we’re seeing when viewing the comments of an inbox item. (This submissions has been aborted but there is no date.)

Thanks for the screen shot. How were you able to add comments during abort and how did you get to this screen after the workflow was completed?

Can you send me a screen shot of your workflow?

We have implemented the changes to allow users to add comments during workflow abort/terminate.

We will be soon releasing a new version of the plugin with this and other changes.

We have released a new version of the plugin with this feature. Now, you will be able to provide comments during workflow abort. Also these comments will be visible in the workflow history.
