Hey li-an, the plugin is translatable, I just need the strings updated. You can find the files in the i18n directory, just send me the .po file and i’ll update.

As for the feature to select thumbnails with the same aspect ratio, I don’t recall that function, how did it work, is there a way to make it better?

I like this newer interface, and it should make it easier to implement any changes.

You were right. In 1.xx version, the plugin showed dimensions of the thumbnail so it was easy to see wich thumbnails did get the same ratio. Did you have a look at your “opposant” https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/crop-thumbnails/ ? It has two nice features: select the thumbnails with same ratio and a direct link in the “featured image” zone. As the users need to recrop the featured image, it’s a good idea I think.

I can’t be behind on features! I’ll see if I can get something thrown together today:)

The concept is nice… but does it work ? I crop the image, save the thumbnails – don’t know exactly where to save but I save. But the thumbnail does not seem to be generated.

Does the new thumbnail appear if you use the view tab in PTE?

Yes, the preview works. Did a test on a test blog – default theme no other plugin and the thumbnail is not generated.

If you’re using chrome, check out the developer tools (for firefox you can use firebug) and see what the server is returning. (I should probably do a screencast of this procedure).

In chrome:
1. Open the PTE interface and press F12.
2. Open the network tab.
3. Back in the PTE tab, crop your thumbnail, and save it.
4. Back in the web developer tool there should be an entry like this.

You can get the actual response from the “response” tab and either copy it here, or pastebin it.

Oh sorry, enable debugging in settings → post thumbnail editor.

The latest version on github might solve this problem. https://github.com/sewpafly/post-thumbnail-editor/archive/master.zip, also, I was wondering if you would be so kind as to update the french translations?
