In fact, the conflict was confirmed. I disabled the options rewrite of the Business Directory plugin, setting options via the Custom Post Type Permalinks Plugin. Thus the different types of posts are coexisting (without 404 error).

1. would be very useful to assign a picture to a category, and in case is no picture for a listing, tu assing the one of the category.

No I’m not using the Custom Post Type Permalinks Plugin. But I’m using many other plugins and I really can’t go through the process of deactivating them all right now. I don’t believe I had the problem before version 2.1.5.1 so I’ll keep looking, but I replied to your other post that I’m also using WP-PageNavi.

I need to adjust the code in order to return in the Category Page (where the listing of a certain category are showed up) only the listings from a certain Town.

I want to alter the query that reads the linstings from a specific category, in order to Add a search criteria when i get the parameter ‘o’, for example: $_GET[‘o’]

Ex: _wpbdp[fields][12] =’BUCURESTI’ or
_wpbdp[fields][10] LIKE ‘%BUCURESTI%’

I still don’t find where to modify the query…

Hi adisandu,

What you’re trying to do (filtering on locations) is what we have coming in the Regions Module. The way you’re trying to do it won’t work reliably and will be messy. I would suggest waiting for the regions module, which should be available shortly.

i had to do a lot o little modifications to the code, in order to get the result i wanted, and i don’t know if i will able to add this new module. if there are only some new files and lines to add in the existing version, maybe with a little assistance from you guys, i will succeed.

i have the version 2.1.4.1 since a while. i needed to do some modifications in order to obtain the result i wanted.

in this version 2.1.4.1, i observed a bug regarding the permalink of the listing. for example, if I modify the permalink in edit post area, in case I make an update via the business directory update scripts/functions, the original permalink get restored. can you help me with some indications, in order to adjust de BDP scripts for not updating the permalink in this case?

Regions is still in process. I know it’s the #1 requested item right now and we’re working hard to get it cleaned up and out the door as soon as possible.
