I have some queries about “approved comments”.

    “Limit per post
The number of comments per post that grants points to the comment author. Use zero for unlimited.”
    – Does it refer to the number of comments per post that will grant points to users who make comments? For example if I put 10 here, does it mean that only the first 10 comments on every post will be valid for granting points?

    “Limit per day
Number of comments per day that grants points. Use zero for unlimited.”
    – Does it refer to the number of comments that each user can earn points or the number of comments for the whole site that can earn points each day?

I have set Limit per posts and Limit Per Day.
I added this shortcode [mycred_hook_table] but the limit didn’t reflect in the table.
Could you please update your plugin and let us know?

Why this small bug still can’t be fixed?

    Hi @wpbetsy,

We have bug fixes in our queue and will release in the next update. If we push an update with one fix then another with another fix then after two days another fix so this way the user will also get frustrated updating the plugin again and again.

    Hope you would understand this.

    Thanks!

Users will not get frustrated of speedy bug fixings. Any updates are shown in your changelog. If the updates are related to the users, they will appreciate it and update as quickly as possible. If the updates do not affect the users, they just ignore it.

    Hi @wpbetsy,

This is not how development works and each company or plugin dev has their own rules. Many users have done customization in the core plugin, also there will be many issues that will be linked to multiple users so if we did one fix then we push update then another fix and another update wouldn’t the user get frustrated to get updates for single code fixes? Development is a different process and resolving bugs plus pushing updates is not easy as pie. Plus we cannot commit too many updates every day as this would be considered as spam by the community moderators.

MyCred support team is working on daily basis to provide support to each and every of its user so kindly don’t expect us to push updates daily as this is not within our company guidelines.

    Thank You!

It’s been a month’s time. Is this bug fixed yet? When can we have an updated version?
