About bridges for SMF, Phpbb3…

    I’m new to wordpress and have the following question:
    Do bridges from smf/phpbb3 require a bridge thats updated for the latest version of SMF/Wordpress?

    I use the latest versions of both software:
    Wordpress: 3.2.1
    SMF: 2.02

    I’m trying to install the most recent plugin:
    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/smf2wp/

    When I installed it, and activated it. Nothing happens. Well I just don’t see it.
    I’m not experienced with bridges, but I guess i’m suppose to see a widget in my dashboard that allows me to add my SMF forum to a page or something?

    According to the plugin info, it should be compatible with 3.2.1 wordpress, so maybe the problem lies with my SMF?

    There is no other plugin that I can try since the other 2 are from 2012 and probably outdated. If this doesn’t work, I guess I have to install a phpbb3 forum which I prefer not to… since I prefer SMF.
