? about customizable post listings

    i’m using the customizable post listings from coffee2code and for the sidebar i just want to display five most recent posts-regardless of category-with short excerpt. The problem i’m having is with the short excerpt part. it just repeats in all five the same excerpt from the first post.

    this is the code i’m using:

    <?php c2c_get_recent_posts(5, "<li>%post_date%: %post_URL%-%post_excerpt_short%</li>")?>

    obviously i haven’t got this set up correctly and would appreciate any help. scott probably has more than he can deal with as far as questions go. tia…

  • I woulduse CPL for if { functions from page to page, or whatever (specialized)

    for regular posts, just use the built in tag in the sidebar, and specify (5)
