About Deleting Install.php and update.php

  • I read everywhere we should always delete the install and update.php files when we have completely installed WPress.

    Does that affect the “auto-update” feature?
    Or affect things if I install a new theme?
    Do I need to just move those 2 files off my server and copy them back (as is) before I install a new theme ?
