About deleting messages

I asked the following question in the Facebook group. However, they didn’t answer all my questions.

Question : Hi.In buddypress groups, can’t a group moderator delete or ban other people’s messages? Actually, it seems that it is possible to pin messages.

Please improve it so that group moderators can delete other people’s messages or ban them from speaking.

Good evening, I have verified, and it appears that the buddypress group moderator cannot delete other users’ messages if the user is not allowed to “delete messages” in the bp settings.

However, chat room moderators can delete other users’ messages with the same settings.
