    Hi,

This is a great plugin, thank you. Wondering if the “Enable Dominant Color” and “Enable Fetchpriority” functions can work well with the perfmatters plugin’s image lazyload function?

Will “Enable Dominant Color” and “Enable Fetchpriority” functions print any CSS/JS in the front end?

Hi @luislu thanks for your questions.

While we can’t confirm for certain if the features will work with the Perfmatters plugin, there are no obvious reasons as to why they would not so if you do notice anything please do let us know.

The Enable Dominant Colour will print a small amount of CSS to display the dominant colour as a background colour for the image while it’s being lazy-loaded. It doesn’t print out any JS on the frontend.

Fetchpriority doesn’t print any JS/CSS but isn’t used on lazy-loaded images. It used to set a higher load priority to images ‘above the fold’.

Hope this helps to answer your questions.

Hi @adamdunnage, if Enable Dominant Color only print css to change image background colour, I think it can work with lazyload function.

I already preload images ‘above the fold’, I guess no need to use fetchpriority?

I will test them and share in here if any issue. Thank you .
