    Hi,
    Are there some changes on the excerpt […] piece?
    When updated to 0.9.5 from 0.9.4.
    I changed the design used by /inc/setup.php and CSS on the child theme and it still there and OK but doesn’t work anymore. I can’t find the reason for that. What should I do?

  • I don’t think there were any changes to the excerpt. Can you give me a link to the page that is broken?

    I do know that we have some real problems to address, overall, with the child theme, and that is on our roadmap., but if we can figure out what happened here, perhaps we can do a quick fix.

    We have a fix in the works for this. After 0.9.4 was released a change was made to the way that /inc/ files were included that broke the child theme friendliness. That change was in 0.9.5. We have fixed the issue and when 0.9.6 releases, hopefully later today or early tomorrow, this functionality will be restored.

    Oh, Thank you. That’s good news.
    I couldn’t show you my website because it is on my PC(local) yet.

    The new version 0.9.6 just went live on the repository. I believe when you update, your excerpts will be fixed. Please come back and let us know if that proves not to be the case.
