    Hi,

I wonder when it’s a good idea to purge these cache: php and object (Redis) ?
How often would be nice ?
Another stupid question: in Litespeed plugin, does purge opcache functionality only work on the actual website or also on all php files cached by other websites on the server ? I’ve got 2 websites (one wordpress and one Matomo instance) on my host.

I think to install a plugin for managing opcache, which is able to invalidate (so purge as I’m able to understand) php files (selectively or entire site), and above all to warm up opcache. I thought using this one: OPcache Manager by Pierre Lannoy.

Would such a plugin disturb litespeed ?

Thanks a lot for your advices, and have a good sunday.
    Best regards

ideally , you should let plugin itself to manage these , but sometimes purge all is required to get everything up-to-date like you did an upgrade on some plugins …etc

it depends on your server set up , like if other sites belongs to same PHP user or not , I can not just say yes or no , but you can quickly verify this by phpinfo() page , there is a opcache status gives Cache hits and Cache misses

I think it should be fine , LSCWP doesn’t really care about the opcache status

    Hi Qtwrk,

Ok, I found these 2 lines.
I’m going to compare with other website. I’m not sure to be able to known the php user as it is a shared host, but with your tips, it will let me know if it’s same cache.

Thanks a lot for all your informations.
    Have a good day !
    Best regards
