“About” page not working – ERROR MESSAGE – help please!

    the URL is: https://www.gayweddingsearch.com/blog

    I am using the Neoclassical theme; after I went in and changed the “About” page content, it will no longer direct me to the “About” page.

    I’m not sure what I did!

    I get an error message:

    The requested URL /blog/about/ was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    SO: I deleted the page that I wrote, and I also re-uploaded the theme.

    Now, I still get the error message, and additionally, there is no “About” page template in the Dashboard/Manage/Pages.

    I’m lost….can anybody help?

  • I too have found exactly the same issue. I thought I was going mad, but it seems like we have either done the same thing wrong, or there is an error in the theme. Interesting. Perhaps the designer could help us?

    Just delete the “About” page and re-create it – quick cut and paste job of the content! Should fix it.

    That’s not an option, but I did find a solution to my particular problem. I went to Permalinks under “Settings, Permalinks” and selected “Custom Structure” and inserted ‘/%postname%/’ and everything started to work.
