About Pg Excerpt Displayed on Home Pg

  • I need to display an excerpt from the About Pg on the Home pg of a website. I downloaded and installed the PJW Page Excerpt to allow for excerpts on pgs, but their are no instructions on how to get these excerpts to display. Solutions?

  • You display the excerpts in the same way you would for posts using the the_excerpt template tag.

    You will need to run a query to fetch the relevant page info first though as I believe the_excerpt only works in the Loop
