We don’t “push” updates. The WordPress software checks if it needs an update, and then it updates itself. It’s a “pull” mechanism.

Maybe your host did an update for you, and didn’t check first?

I reinstalled WordPress after the release of 5.0.1. The installed version is 5.0.1, and I have checked for updates in the past two days and it always shows “already the latest version”, but today the website console suddenly shows an update, and this update is still 5.0.1. So I don’t know what happened. I once thought that your team released an update with the same version number today, so do you know what happened? Should I update?

What exactly is the “website console”?

We only make WordPress. It doesn’t have anything called a “console” in it, so it’s hard to understand what exactly you’re seeing.
