About Spanish Translation. Problems with E-mails not been translated…

    Hi, these last days I′m testing PaidMembershipsPro in my site -Spanish language-. The traduction of the interface is mainly ok but, when someone register and pay, or cancel subscription, the E-mails that are sent to the user are not translated to spanish, just english driven. How can I make PMP to send those Confirmation and Cancel E-mails translated to Spanish language?

  • Having the same issue And in addition, I,m facing problem in the settings=>advanced=>message boxes:
    after translating the message via loco translation plugin all boxes are with the right translation language but in the frontend, the translation does not appear, just English.

    Hi @nachogo,

    Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

    You will need to adjust the content of the emails and manually translate them. Unfortunately this is due to the email contents being written directly in HTML and not supporting the wrapped strings in PHP/WordPress wrapper functions.

    You are able to edit the outgoing Paid Memberships Pro email content by using the free Add On called Paid Memberships Pro Email Templates – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pmpro-email-templates-addon/

    @elearnnow the same goes for the content message, you would need to do one of the following:

    1. Write the content to your desired language under “Membership” > “Settings” > “Advanced”
    2. Customize the restricted content message using the pmpro_non_member_text filter. You may follow this guide – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/customizing-the-message-for-non-members-on-membership-protected-content/
