About SSR vs plugins

    How big is the difference between this plugin and different SSR solutions? Is there a comparison guide between this and other plugins such as “WP Super Cache” that also create static HTML pages?

    Hey @hassesthlm,

    at least not yet, but thanks for the suggestion!

    I would say from a performance perspective, the difference between Simply Static and a full-page cache with WPSuperCache/WpRocket isn’t that massive.

    Delivering your WordPress website is more about security (You can still exploit WP even with a full-page cache) and maintainability (you don’t need a staging environment anymore).
