about the /blog address

  • Hello forum peoples.
    I’m making a site for a client that consists of a 7-blogs-network and a main site.
    As we all know the permalink of all posts from the main site are preceded by /blog .
    BUT if we try to type the site-adress.com/blog we have a 404, instead of a blog of sorts.
    I would like this address to work like it suggests. When we put the /blog in the main site, we go to a… blog with the main site’s posts, as it was asked by my client.
    Any suggested way to do this?

  • Yep! And it;s easy-peasy.

    Make a page template that lists your blog posts. some themes have this already.

    Go to the admin area, write a new Page. Call it Blog. Pick the blog post page template to use on it. Publish.
