About the NOINDEX and NOFOLLOW the page/post

    I m using the All in one seo pack plugin on my site www. mamairvaikas.lt.
    An electronic journal and PDF version had been placed on my website and also I add a posts of separate articles from this magazine. It looks like google interpreted it as duplicate content.

    If I choose the NOINDEX this page/post and NOFOLLOW this page/post for the magazine post the magazine will not be founded through google.

    What settings should be selected to allow readers to find the magazine through google, but do not index the articles on it- in order that the articles would be indexed only on the posts?

    I’m not sure what you’re asking. Anything you select noindex for won’t be indexed by Google.

    I wanted to ask what selection to choose on my magazine post https://www.mamairvaikas.lt/tvs/zurnalas-mama-ir-vaikas-2017-m-ruduo, which contains an electronic journal, for that purpose that pages (articles) of this magazine would not be indexed.

    If I select NOFOLLOW this page/post on post of my electronic magazine, what links will be no indexed- internal links (also the link for my electronic magazine), backlinks or both?

    What you’re asking is not possible. There’s no way to make Google index the URL and create an entry in the search results without fully indexing all the content in the PDF file, which will cause duplicate content.

    You can either decide to NOINDEX the PDF file and let your readers find the PDF file through the magazine post or NOINDEX the magazine post and let them find the PDF file directly through Google.
