    Hi Frank,

I have a question concerning the critical path for above the fold option. I extracted my above the fold critical path and entered it into the above the fold field.
The problem is that then my mobile performance dropped from 77 to 54 on google page speed. I used this js to extract the above the fold. https://gist.github.com/PaulKinlan/6284142

Do you have an idea what happened or what I can do? I really want to use above the fold critical path css as I believe it to improve page speed but under these circumstances I can’t…

    thanks for your help.

well, the fact that PSI score dropped doesn’t really mean anything (it’s just a number), but what were the things it complained about (and recommendations) that popped up?

    Hi Frank,

I tried it with a different system (the one you suggest). Now there is no more performance decrease but it hasnt improved either. It doesnt show the ao.css in render blocking elements anymore but the performance results haven’t improved. (77 & 91 psi)
    My homepage size is 733.7kB

Either way I believe that this in fact should improve page performance so I’ll use it anyways.
Your plugin is great and your support is even better. Thanks as always!

PS: As you state on your page I confirm that using https://jonassebastianohlsson.com/criticalpathcssgenerator/ works best. In addition however I suggest that instead of inlining all css and then copying it to the generator, people simply open the source code and open the ao.css file as it already has all the css in it (easier).

    Cheers,

    Amir
