    Hey there,

with the CriticalCSS option turned on the homepage is scrolled down to the complete bottom (end of page; tested with Firefox and Chrome in Incognito Mode). Even if there is no CSS in there at all.

Is there any known bug or so? When I deactivate only that option it is at the top as intended (hero section).

    Greetings
    Andy

Edit: I deactivated the option atm so you cannot test it right now (just for info).

That’s due to the combination of AO CCSS and the Borlabs cookie plugin. If I’m not immensely mistaking there are some other threads (I think with solutions/ workarounds) on the forum here, maybe have a look around?

OK, had some time to look into this, it seems the borlabs cookie JS (?) requires (part of) the CSS to be applied because it calculates the position based on it, so we’ll have to force the borlabs CSS to be added to the critical CSS (which will make it bulkier).

For that purpose can you go to Settings -> Autoptimize -> Critical CSS -> Advanced settings and under “force include” add .BorlabsCookie in there?

    Hey there,

I dont know why, but my post on your first answer does not appear (was a day after yours). Was something like “I will look into that when I have more time, but at the moment I do not find anything on the board with a quick look.”.

Right now I just purchase access to CriticalCSS from time to time to optimize a website. The API is too much for my little projects. I will try to manually add it.

Thank you so much for the hint!

Edit: Put all CSS of “borlabs-cookie_1_de.css” into the “above the fold CSS” text field and it is working again!

Guess I will go for another month on criticalcss to have it everywhere or I need to find out which CSS it is exactly, because right now it is a lot, BUT it works!

Thank you for your help! ??
