As this plugin is not working with PHP 7.4 anymore, I moved to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/urvanov-syntax-highlighter/ which works fine with all of the existing listings.
[/UPDATE]This syntax highlighter works absolutely perfect for me. It is stable and does not come with that many updates.
However, it supports many settings which could be overwhelming when starting with this plugin. ??
