• I wrote a less than glowing review about this product as I had functionality issues. The developer contacted me and offered assistance in resolving the issue I had. I replied thanking him for his kind assistance. However I have since uninstalled the plugin as I have cancelled my WordPress hosing. The 3 stars I have given this plugin is not based on the functionality of it, but is based upon the willingness of the developer to help me set up the plugin on their Pro forum even though I am using the free version so if an end user does encounter issue the developer will be willing to help. Excellent support.

@sparkyjohnmarky First I am very sorry for this kind of experience you faced. Actually, this is not the fault of you tried 6 Plugin! After the install of a plugin, it comes with some new custom post types.

In the WordPress ecosystem when it registered a new custom post type its need to flush the permalink rule, it’s a very simple step you just need to go to

Settings -> Permalink -> Save Settings -> Done!

After flushing the permalink you must see the event page instead of the 404 Not found page. There is a support forum in every WordPress plugin if you create a support ticket the support team will definitely help you to solve this problem.

Thanks for your valuable review and the rating.

    Hi,

Thank you for your response and that does help. Perhaps my post was a little misleading, but the other 6 I have tried worked but each of them had their own problems in some way. Whilst I appreciate the help you have given I do not understand why the plugin can’t just work and why you have to take the steps you suggest and if these steps are required why do you not let people know when they are installing. I have noticed that virtually every plugin I have installed does not work the way the developer describes and they all need tweaking in some way and whilst I can appreciate there are forums I am sorry but I have a business to run and do not have the time to keep posting threads in the hope someone might respond to my issue like the other 6 developers. This has not been the case with yourself as you have kindly taken the time to respond and the help you have suggested is greatly appreciated. I will undertake the steps you have suggested and I will amend my review after I have had an opportunity to use the plugin fully. However as I stated I think I will just purchase some e-commerce hosting and scrap WordPress, with the amount of time I have spent debugging and trolling the internet for solutions I could have had my site finished in a third of the time using html and css.

I really appreciate your kind offer, however I have contacted my hosting supplier today and transferred my WordPress contract to webspace and will set up my site using html and css.

Thank you once again for your kind offer of assistance and I will revise my review to highlight your willingness to support your users.

    Kindest Regards
