[ Plugin ] Absolute Privacy, "Feature Phone" access not possible

  • SYSTEM: WordPress 3.1
    PLUGIN: Absolute Privacy (user/password required to see content)
    LANGUAGE: Japanese Front End, English back in (thanks to Bogo Plugin)
    URL: private

    PURPOSE: subscribers login to receive crisis content via a wordpress blog during rolling power outages in japan.

    PROBLEM: while this works for many of the subcribers, it does not work for those using “feature phones”. The feature phone users make up a large percentage of people in this situation.

    QUESTION 1: Is there a way to configure the blog/plugin to allow a feature phone to login?

    QUESTION 2: Is there a different tool you can suggest?
