• I am running WordPress 3.03 on two blogs. I am using Absolute Privacy on one site to complete privatize the site. It seems that when someone registers, they do not receive the email saying their registration needs to be approved. Unaware of this, I was still approving people, but it seems that email is not being sent either.

    On the other site, I am using AP to privatize one page. All seems to work except after I approve a user on one site, no email is being sent to them.

    I am running the latest version of Absolute Privacy.

  • If anyone is having the issue where the pending welcome email is not being sent… A rough way to fix it is comment out line 939 and 940

    //if ( empty( $plaintext_pass ) )
    //		return;

    I found that if I approve the users by going into each user account, it would not send out the approval email. BUT if you use these steps, the approval email will go out!
    Go to ‘Users->Moderate Users’.
    Select the users to approve.(check the boxes)
    Press “Approve Selected Users”.
    Hope that helps!

    I have the same problem with this too….plus now, it also seems to be letting anybody into my blog ??

    I’m having the same problem. The email notifications worked when I first set the plugin up. I made no changes to the plugin or site and suddenly it stopped.

    New users that are added by admin can login right away, even though they receive the pending notification.
