Absolute privacy not doing anything

Hi, I’ve installed the plugin, and I’m experiencing behavior much like several of the other forum posters. I’m getting the error that user registrations is not turned on in the General settings page (it is) and anyone can access the whole site without being asked to register.
This is pretty much the first thing I’ve installed–not much else to interfere with the plugin behavior. Any suggestions on what to try? See dogblog.mitchellzone.org, thanks.
