Hi.
When you start a Google Shopping campaign there is a window of time that your campaign is in the learning phase where Google is learning how to optimize when and where to show your campaigns across their platforms. Your campaign was in this period at the time you chose to cancel your campaign. When you chose to cancel your campaign, we do explain in detail that you are choosing that option and we do require you to confirm that action. Once you confirm your cancellation, your ad does run for the remainder of the month to use any Ad Spend you have left. Once your Ad Spend runs out or your month ends, we discontinue billing and end the campaign. All of which we do explain to you in detail during the cancellation process. Since your campaign had continued to run as we outlined when you canceled the campaign, you were out of ad spend and this is why you would have been required to purchase more ad spend.
You were in contact with our support team this week and we responded to several inquiries from you on the same day from one of our support team members who was working with you to help answer any questions and help to resolve any issues you were having. They did provide a refund to you, which was conveyed to you that you would be receiving a refund, so you could use those funds to reinstate your campaign, even though your campaign had been running and optimizing.
If you have any further questions, we are happy to assist you.
