If you hate the block editor and are dismayed at the neverending demands that you relearn how to use basic WordPress functions just to accommodate whatever absurd control-freak whims the core developers have come up with this week, this is a vital addition. Kudos to the developer for also staying up to date on the constant, infuriating expansions of the block editor. Did the 5.8 changes to block editor make your Widgets unusable (as it did for me)? Go to the Disable Gutenberg settings, check a box, and sanity returns. A must. Frankly, WordPress would be unusable without this plugin.
