I am very sorry for the trouble!
We did release multiple updates in the past weeks however it is not always the case!
The reason for these updates is that we decided to merge the add to cart settings from 3 of our plugins, Floating Cart, Quick View & Variation Swatches…. into 1 shared and optional module.
This way, if you happen to use all these plugins, this shared module will be loaded once, settings would be less confusing and would avoid code duplication.
As for why we would add the ajax add to cart feature to swatches, well it is optional, however, since you can have swatches on the archive page, it’s much better to use ajax to add to the cart instead of redirecting to the single page everytime!
I do apologize, we should have released this update as a beta to make sure it’s compatible with most themes and avoid the multiple rushed updates that we had to release to fix issues / theme conflicts quickly.
I can assure you, this has nothing to do with code quality, we have over 15 years experience in coding, no juniors here ??
