• Well, I spend several days trying the Cloudflare free plan, but there is lot of trouble because it caches everything including backend pages, that caused you will note there is no change after you did some work like installing a plugin or theme, just because Cloudflare cache.

For the site owner of non technical or coding background, it is really quite difficult to utilize the benefit of cloudflare DNS and cache of assets.

    Here is typical case:

I use the plugin of offload images to Digitalocean space with CDN, the plugin is at , although it seems a great method to use 250G Storage and CDN service with lower price of 5 dollar/Month.

But the problems is that Digitalocean is not pro DNS provider, and DNS resolving is slow, also, the Digitalocean Space CDN does not support cache wordpress asset, like html, css, js.

So, hiding digitalocean space behind cloudflare seems a great way for domain DNS resolving and cache assets.

But, how? I found a short answer in 2019.

Although, there is a top question on how to properly set the subdomain CNAME on the Cloudflare for Digitalocean space bucket.

So, I submit a question at that post on how to set CNAME:

when creating CNAME for DO CDN, for example, we use a subdomain , which one of the above two endpoints should be input in the target of CNAME setting? two options:

    Origin Endpoint:?

    CDN Endpoint:

But, no one replied. which one is the right way? the only what I can do is try and try.... after three days, I still did not get the clear result just because the Cloudflare cache.

Once activated this plugin, I just speed 10 min, and I know the right way is to setting CDN Endpoint to the CNAME value.

    Great thanks.
