Absolutely nothing is saving

  • I use worpress as my portfolio. TMDHosting is my host.

    I don’t do much on my portfolio other than updating photos. I do it once every other year.

    Today I just wanted to change the “copyright 2018” to “Copyright 2021” in my wp-admin dashboard settings. And then I wanted to change one icon in the footer to link it to another website that’s all.

    Nothing is saving! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

    I googled and did every step. I tried to use a different browser, cleared cache, ingonito mode etc.

    What’s the issue?

  • You’re using a very old version of your theme, with the very latest version of WordPress. You’re bound to have problems.

    Indeed, looking over your theme’s changelog, I see WordPress version compatibility mentioned with every major release of WordPress.

    You want to upgrade your theme (and all installed plugins) to the very latest version, or roll back to the version of WordPress that worked previously (not recommended).
