Abundance of SPAM Message

  • I’ve been noticing a massive uptick in SPAM messages being sent through all of my forms, despite having Akismet enabled and Recaptcha v2 configured.

    They’re getting filtered into the “SPAM” tab when I view them on WordPress, but emails are still being deployed.

    Anyone have any recommendations on how I can rectify this issue so that I can either decrease the amount of spam submission or just stop the SPAM ones from sending out the email notification?

  • We’ve recently had a big increase on spam in the last two months as well, and we use Akismet Anti-Spam with VFB Pro. We have both plugins enabled, and forms have Recaptcha, but we are still getting spam. However, we are not receiving a copy of the spam forms in WordPress, they are going straight to the email.
