ac_page redirects, ac_page.php doesn’t

These are the rules in Redirections:
^\/ac_page(.*)
https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/volvo-air-conditioning-problems-and-fixes//ac_page.php
https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/volvo-air-conditioning-problems-and-fixes/The former does have today as Last Accessed. The second has a dash (-), even after I hit the exact URL https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/ac_page.php. It just throws a 404 Not Found.
I can check the first rule by hitting https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/ac_page and see that it works.
There is nothing to help in the Nginx logs. I have the logs set to notice level and do see notices (and up) coming in hot.
I do have WP Super Cache but delete the cache every time I change the rules.
I suspect it’s something in my Nginx site config. Do you concur?
