    ACADP Custom Field Default

    Hi all,

The search feature of this forum doesn’t work, which is a real shame, as I have been able to get a few answers here already. I know it isn’t under the control of ACADP, but is there a fix, or someone I can approach about this?

Anyway, a newbie at ACADP. Only into it a by few days, but have questions already, so I’ll fire away here in the hope there is a individual, or a support person that can advise me.

I have a test site (just test nothing else) with a test post at:

I found the “a: Answer” type of thing a little confusing and not fully explained in the help documentation. However figured it out because of the “red: Red” text in the side column. But as shown in the image, which do I use as a default for a post input?

That isn’t my real question, just a means of getting to my question.
Can I set a default setting into the custom fields? I played around with everything I could think of, but nothing seemed to work.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cheers Don…

After spending a little time with this program, I have found what I believe is the answer myself.

If you select nothing in the search menu, you get a maximum return of entries.
As you select items from the menu including locations and categories, the list becomes smaller, until you can drill down to the items you are really searching for. That is, if they exist.

    Thanks I’ll close this ticket.

    Cheers Don…
