Accept/Reject Cookie From Another Button

    As well as having the cookie banner on the footer of my website, I’d also like the option for the user to be able to accept/reject the cookie from another area of my website?

    Is there a way that I can tie a button click to accepting/rejecting the same cookie that is used for the cookie banner?

    I’d also like the user to be able to click a button to delete the cookie even if they have already accepted? Is there a way I can get the cookie to be deleted when a button has been pressed?

    Hi @roperjonathan,

    You can use the shortcodes [cookie_button] and [cookie_reject] anywhere in the site to have accept and reject buttons anywhere in the site and not just the cookie banner.

    To have a cookie delete button, you can use the [delete_cookies] shortcode.

    Please refer the Help tab under the plugin settings for a list of supported shortcodes and their functions.
