  • – Do you have a link to your site that you can provide?
    – Did you update WordPress when this happened?
    – Are you using any plugins for maintenance mode?

    If you did do a WordPress update when the issue started to happen, then it may have never removed the .maintenance file from the root. You can check by using an FTP program and looking for a file in the root named “.maintenance”. It will be located in the same directory that wp-config.php is found. If you do not see it, make sure that system files are not set to be hidden in your FTP client.
