access as editor

    I would like to know, how it is possible to get access to NewStatPress also as editor. This is very helpful e.g. if the admin is located at a company and the two responsible editors and managers of this blog or webpage are from an other different company. So the editors have always to contact the admin from the company what doesn’t make sense over a longer distance.
    A result would be very nice – THANKS!

    hi,

    from the old Statpress code, there is the capability option that you can activated.

    If you choose a capability that is only set from WordPress to an editor, then you can access to newstatpress even if you are not an administrator

    Just to add to this if anybody else needs it, in the NewStatPress options, there is a setting for “Minimum capability to view stats”. Set this to something like publish_pages for editors to see the stats.

    Having this option is why I went with NewStatPress, as well as being great at what it does.
