I am working in a sub-site in a multi-site setup. I have set up a data project to allow front end maintenance of a database. I have assigned role restriction to the project page. It works but too well. It wont allow super admin (the all knowing admin in multi-site) access as the role doesn’t match. The problem is that WordPress does not allow assigning any other role to a super admin in a sub-site.

am I doing something wrong? Is there a work around? or is this a bug?

    Here’s the error text
    ERROR: No access [missing role]

    Hi Charles,

If you grant access to role Administrator the super admin should be able to access the page. I tested this on my multisite installation and it works. Can you give it a try for role Administrator?

    Best regards,
    Peter

I had it set for administrator and contributor before I opened this topic.

I also have access to page with the same access restraints and I get to the page.

How can I send an export of the project? It’s not very big I could put it in a message.

    Her’s the short code. [wpdadiehard project_id=”1″ page_id=”1″]

    To sent an export:
    – Click on the export link on the project page
    – Export the table(s) used in the project
You can sent them in a ZIP file.

    Best regards,
    Peter
