    I don’t know what the problem is, but I can tell you what the plugin does.

    It gets a simple webpage from dailyverses.net, which only contains the bible verse, and puts it on your wordpress site. I guess the connection to dailyverses.net fails, because your server, firewall or wordpress installation doesn’t allow connections to external domains.

    If you want to fix it, you have to figure out what is blocking the connection.
