I just updated the plug-in this morning and I can’t make a connection. I clicked the Connect to Stream button and got past the Captcha. But then I get a box that say is doesn’t recognize my account.

If I used the sign-in URL provided to me as I business customer, I get the same error.

“We couldn’t find an account with the email [email protected] to log you in with. If you already have an account on Stream, please make sure that [email protected] is configured as the email address, or that you have connected to WordPress.com on your profile page.”

I’ve used both accounts I have with WordPress.

If I go to the Setting menu option in the plug-in, I get accessed denied.

I don’t mind downloading the plug-in again, but I want to make sure I won’t lose the notifications I created.

  • Also having this issue. Reverting to backed up version of the plugin, not happy with this, nor requirement to use wordpress.com in the first place.

Hey all! This issue was fixed a few hours after it was first reported here. Hopefully by now you all have been able to connect. If not, please try connecting again and report back here if you have any issues.

Also if you have a moment, please check out the interview below where I recently got to dive into some of the the technical details about Stream 2.0, and the reasons why we are using WordPress.com single sign-on.

    Thanks!

We subscribed using your site and not a WordPress.com ID. We are now locked out of the Stream service – it’s broken on our site and we cannot access our dashboard on your site. We have emailed you for two days now and had no response. We are a paying customer. What is going on over there?

Hey seamtv! Where are you sending your emails to? Happy to help you troubleshoot.
