I am using overwrite mode as I have installed a fresh WordPress site, but in Step 2 of 4: Install Database, I get the error message:

Unable to connect the user [user2] to the host [localhost:3306]. The server error response was: Access denied for user ‘user2’@’localhost’ (using password: YES).

Duplicator appears to have read all the credentials correctly (from the WP-CONFIG file), and my WordPress installation is working. Does this imply that the user privileges are correct since WordPress works? I have a dedicated server running Plesk.

I’ve read through the section on Connection Issues, but can see where to go next.
