I just updated the Download Monitor plugin to v. 4.7.3 and now all my links to the downloads are getting an “Access denied to this file” error message. Please help.

  • Hello @trebornautics ,

Could you please let us know where are you trying to server the files from? And from what version did you update Download Monitor from?

    Warmly,

The files are in the WordPress uploads folders

This is the second time this has happened after updating the plugin. The first time, I was able to just resave the WordPress Permalinks setting and it solved the issue. This time, that fix didn’t work.

Thank you for the info @trebornautics .

Could you please go to dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info > Directories & Sizes and let me know what is says for WordPress directory location and Uploads directory location?

    Warmly,
    Razvan

Also, could you please let me know from what version you have updated from?

    Kind regards!
    Razvan
