Access head code to correct typo for link rel=
-
Hi,
I uploaded a favicon to my images file. It is correctly id’d as favicon.ico. However it doesn’t show up. I looked at the page source and saw that the link rel= “Shortcut Icon” code for the theme folder is slightly different than the actual name of the theme folder on the server. I wanted to get to the code to fix so they match.
I don’t know php. And I’m using a purchased template from a reputable provider. But I know that I should go to the header.php file. When I do, there’s nothing there I can edit. Not knowing php, I think there are links in this very brief doc to elsewhwere.
Any suggestions for where I might look or how to make this change. The support folks for the template aren’t very forthcoming.
Thanks.
