Access Restricitons – Enforce read access cannot be set

    Hello,
    I am facing a major problem while using this plugin. At first I thought it was something wrong with my database due to a lot of changes in order to test it extensively but I am facing this problem on a clean database too.

    I set a new capability > I create a group and attach to this group the capability. I create a new page that I need to allow access to it only to a specific group. In the Access Restrictions tab I am trying to set it properly but the only option I have available is “groups_read_post” and not the capability I inserted before.

    Is it normal? Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

    Hi,

    You need to assign that capability to a group and enable it for access restriction in Groups > Options. To be allowed to apply the capability, you must also belong to a group that has the capability.

    Or you can use the quick-create field.
