Access Restriction For Levels

s2members is awesome! i tried a thousand different options for my wordpress membership site and so far only s2members seems to do what i need done for the most part.
how is it possible to allow a level 1 paid membership with restricted access to just a specific set of content available to that membership level?
For example I have multiple courses on my site, too many to have a separate membership level for each. level 1 membership should allow you to only choose 1 course (which includes a set of categories, pages and tags) from a set of all available courses. once you choose your course you cannot access any other course available to same membership level.
hopefully i explained what i need clearly and i will add i considered the content restriction option but the problem is the content is subscription based and users would need to have continued access not just one time access. Thank you in advance for any help offered and i would definitely recommend s2members hands down as the best membership plugin option!
