Access to certificate page is disallowed

Hi @jessicarze , it does unfortunately sound like a permissions issue on the LearnDash side. Are you also seeing this if you try to access them via LearnDash, perhaps using the [ld_profile] shortcode?

And when you “Preview”, do you mean you’re using https://www.uncannyowl.com/knowledge-base/certificate-preview/ in Toolkit Pro? Or are you trying to preview like you would normal WordPress posts? If it’s the latter, it wouldn’t work. You normally have to complete the quiz or certificate to issue the certificate properly. If it’s our module, maybe you can open a ticket on our site to confirm your exact steps.

It’s a somewhat common issue on the LearnDash side, and I think users have reported issues with image optimization and making sure a featured image is assigned, maybe check that as well.

Thank you! This helps! I do not have Toolkit Pro so I was looking in the normal WordPress preview. I also have not completed the quizzes, so it is all starting to make sense. I will complete a quiz and further check, but it does not appear it is your module. Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it!

Ah, in that case this wouldn’t be related to our plugins at all, it’s on the LearnDash side. We built that module in Toolkit Pro to make certificate viewing easier–to avoid issues like what you’re experiencing. ?? LearnDash has made things easier with the new certificate builder plugin they have, you could try that as well, otherwise you can complete things and then view certificates from the edit user page in /wp-admin/.
