I am just trying to give access to the editor role for associates to handle the live chat sessions. Im not sure how to do that. I thought using the User Role Editor plugin would do the trick but I don’t seem to be having any luck with that. I did see an earlier post on the forum similar to my situation but it was more than a year old and it was in response to a user that was working with another plug in called WP Members. Can you assist me in what I would need to do to open up access to my two Editor Roles on my site?

    Thank You

    Hi there.

So sorry for only getting back to you now.

Are you using the Basic or Pro version of our plugin on your site?

If you are using the basic version, only the admin of the site can be made an agent. Unfortunately this cannot be changed.

The Pro version allows for multiple agents. This can be done by going to ‘Users’ and clicking ‘Edit’ on the user you want to make an agent. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the checkbox labelled ‘Make this user a chat agent’.
